About Hurd Video 

John Hurd founded Hurd Video Productions in 1989. I attended Cal State Fullerton and received my degree in Communications. About the same time I was working at the Ice Capades Chalet in Costa Mesa. I was also working as a news videographer. I recognized the need for a professional video for skaters and parents to enjoy for a lifetime. We began by recording programs on VHS in the early days. In 2003 we moved to record customer recordings on DVD. In 2015 we started recording in High Definition and providing customer recordings on thumb drives and Dropbox.
